Apr 10 - UKIP to Present European Election Campaign to Gibraltar
Tomorrow evening, UK political party UKIP will launch their European Parliament Campaign in Gibraltar, ahead of May’s elections. During the event, at the Eliott Hotel, the party present their South West and Gibraltar candidate Gawain Towler, who believes that the UK Government is not doing enough for Gibraltar in the face of the current on going dispute with Spain.
Speakers at the launch will include UKIP Deputy Leader Paul Nuttall MEP, Neil Hamilton, Deputy Chairman of the party and former Conservative MP, and Mr. Towler.
UKIP has formerly announced that it would present a host of local candidates ahead of Gibraltar next General Election, but it is unknown whether this meeting will touch upon that matter.
Those wishing to attend the meeting can find it at the Tercentenary Suite at 6pm, tomorrow evening.
