The Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia, accompanied by Mrs Penny Garcia, represented the Government in the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace this week. They were formally presented to Her Majesty the Queen and had the opportunity to exchange a few words.
Dr Garcia also took advantage of the visit to London to brief long-time friend of Gibraltar Rt Hon Simon Hughes MP, who is now the UK Minister of State for Justice and Civil Liberties.
