Jan 19 - Government: Opposition Are “Clearly Unaware Of Completion Dates”
19 January 2015
The Government has said that it is clear that the Opposition “are living on a different planet”. The reaction from Number Six comes after the GSD suggested that various government projects “have either not started or still have a long way to go before completion.”
Quite simply, says the Government, the International Bank is scheduled for completion in the next couple of months whilst St Bernard’s School and the small boats marina are scheduled to be open by September. The Traffic Plan is, it says, finished and currently being discussed in Cabinet.
“So it would seem that, in the absence of accuracy and facts, the Opposition are again reduced to their tactic of throwing abuse in the hope that some of it might stick,” concluded a statement.
