The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire Gibraltar Association has congratulated former Governor of Gibraltar, Sir Robert Fulton KBE on his appointment as King of Arms to the Order.

Sir Robert was Governor of Gibraltar from 2006 until 2009

The monarch is Sovereign of the Order and appoints all other members of the Order. The next most senior member is the Grand Master, currently The Prince Philip. The Order has six officials: the King of Arms; the Prelate; the Dean; the Secretary; the Registrar and the Ushers. The King of Arms is the herald of the Order.
