On Thursday 4^th August, the Gibraltar Public Services Ombudsman, Mr Mario Hook and his team will be based at Parliament House distributing their Annual Report for the year ending 31^st December 2015.

On this occasion, the Ombudsman team will be joined by Ms Susan Hudson, Policy & Communications Manager from the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales.

As a member of the Ombudsman Office Management Team, Susan is responsible for advising and supporting the Ombudsman for Wales on all matters of corporate governance and public accountability. This includes the preparation of the Ombudsman’s Annual Report. In relation to the Office’s communications activities, this includes advising and supporting the Ombudsman on all public relations and outreach; hence her visit to Gibraltar.

The Ombudsman and his team, including the Health Complaints Handling team, say they are keen to meet as many people as possible and as such they encourage everyone to come to the Parliament’s lobby on Thursday. The team says it will listen to people’s concerns as well as to provide advice and arrange appointments to meet them in their offices. Parallel to the distribution of the Annual Report the Ombudsman will also be conducting a public survey on the Gibraltar Public Services Ombudsman Office.
