Oct 03 - Morrisons Employees Receive 1.75% Increase On Hourly Wage
03 October 2016
Unite members at Morrisons were balloted on a consolidated 1.75% increase of all established basic rates of pay.
The membership has followed Unite's recommendation and has overwhelmingly accepted the offer with 97% in favour of the offer.
Unite's Branch Coordinating Official Christian Duo said: "We are extremely pleased to have managed to negotiate an increase which surpasses our members mandate and also managed to safeguard the annual service award bonus for current employees. I would like to give credit to the negotiating Committee and Shop Stewards for their hard work and determination this last year in what has been a challenging environment."
