09 February 2017
The Gibraltar Women’s Association (GWA) has welcomed the revised safeguarding laws on both grooming offenses and distribution of images.
The GWA says that “both go a long way to protect the children in our community.”
A statement continued: “We look forward to the results of the work from the Child Protection Committee to ensure all children are protected wherever they are. The GWA have been working in this area over the last year and we are very pleased to see substantial progress.”
Prescriptions
The GWA says it also welcomes the recent changes to the Health Centre prescription system adding that it hopes it revolutionises the way appointments are distributed enabling more people to be seen by their GP.
