Feb 22 - Gibraltarian Fashion Student Features In Central Saint Martins' London Fashion Week Showcase
Hailed as a "name to remember" by fashion journalists in Vogue, The Telegraph and i-D, Gibraltar's very own Gabriella Sardeña has just revealed her collection in the Central Saint Martins Showcase in London Fashion Week at the weekend.
Participating in CSM London Fashion week show is no easy task. Gabriella was one of 16 students selected to participate from a class of 38 which on itself is a big achievement but she is also the only female textile student to show for CSM.
Gabriella obtained a first degree in Fashion from the Metropolitan University of Manchester. She was then selected for a Masters of Art in the prestigious Central Saint Martins (CSM) University of the Arts in London.
To date Gabriella is the first and only Gibraltarian female fashion designer to study at Central Saint Martins(CSM) and the first also in being selected to participate in the prestigious and exclusive CSM showcase in London Fashion week.
Gabriella is currently in her final hear of her postgraduate degree at CSM, where she is specialising in textiles and is part of a class of 38 MA students.

Gabriella also succeeded in getting a scholarship the British Fashion Council a rather prestigious and respectful achievement and another first for Gibraltar.
Gabriella has made very important inroads in her career - when in Manchester University she was sent to San Francisco as part of her internship to work for the famous GAP group of clothing and one of the blouses she designed was selected for production something rarely seen from a 2nd year degree students
She has participated in fashion shows in Manchester, London, and was hailed Runway 2015's winner in Gibraltar, before proceeding to exhibit her collection in Brighton Fashion Week in 2015.
