Former Miss Gibraltar and Miss World Kaiane Lopez (née Aldorino) will become Gibraltar’s next Mayor on the 4^th April.

Mr John Gonçalves is set to serve as her Deputy.

The Chief Minister will move the following motion at the next meeting of Parliament:

“THIS HOUSE APPOINTS Mrs Kaiane Lopez GMH to be Mayor of Gibraltar and Mr John Gonçalves MBE GMD to be her deputy as from Tuesday 4th April 2017.”
