His Excellency the Governor, Lieutenant General Edward Davis hosted an Investiture Ceremony at the Convent last Thursday, recognising the hard work carried out by people in the community.

Lt Gen Davis presented the following medals and awards to the below recipients:

Overseas Territory Medals (OTM) (Police) to: Inspector John GOODMAN GA For services to policing in Gibraltar.

Imperial Service Medal to: 

Mr Francis Britto For services to the Ministry of Defence, Gibraltar.

Mr Louis Chipolina For services to the Ministry of Defence, Gibraltar.

Mrs Annabelle Ferro For services to the Ministry of Defence, Gibraltar.

Gibraltar Award (Governor's Certificate and Badge of Honour) to:

Ms Tamara Gomez For services to Social Services in Gibraltar.

Points of Light Award to:

Mrs Beryl Zammitt For services to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Charity, Gibraltar.

Commander-in-Chief Commendation to:

Mr Barry HOPE For services to the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.

Major (Retired) David SEED MBE For services to the Ministry of Defence, Gibraltar.
