Oct 10 - RFA Wave Knight To Call Into Gibraltar

Royal Fleet Auxiliary WAVE KNIGHT is set to arrive in Gibraltar on Wednesday 11 October. WAVE KNIGHT will call into the Naval Base for logistic support.
RFA WAVE KNIGHT, a Wave Knight-class fast fleet tanker, was launched in 2000 and accepted into service in 2003. She is the second ship to bear this name in RFA service.
The Fast Fleet Tankers are designed to support the Royal Navy in global operations, which include amphibious warfare, anti-submarine operations and protections of vital sea areas and shipping. They have a cargo capacity of 16,900 tonnes of fuel and 915 tonnes of dry stores. They have the ability to deliver fuel through a Replenishment at Sea (RAS) rig, either port or starboard or astern to other vessels.
