Aug 03 - Gibraltar To Be Represented At The IAAF European Championships

The 2018 edition will be held in Berlin, Germany from the 7th to the 12th August.
Jessy Franco runs in the 400m at 10 35am on Tuesday 7th August 400m, Harvey Dixon is in the 1500m on Wednesday 8th August at 1105 am and Arnold Rodgers takes part in the marathon on Sunday 12th August. All these events will feature top class athletes from all major European
countries.
The Minister for Sport, Steven Linares wishes the athletes all the best, adding: “It is once again essential to highlight the importance of Gibraltar’s participation at such high calibre events as a nation in its own right. Our athletes will face tough competition but lately the GAAA’s have been pulling off excellent results and I hope the trend continues in Berlin.”
