Dec 14 - Gibraltar Port Authority's Longest Serving Member Of Staff Retires

The Gibraltar Port Authority sends best wishes and congratulations to Derek Hernandez who has recently retired from the Port Authority.
Derek joined the Gibraltar Port Authority in 1974 at the age of 15 as a Seaman and retires as a Port Officer.
A spokesperson said: "Derek is the longest serving member of staff and his experience and knowledge has been invaluable to the Port and his colleagues throughout his long career.
"On behalf of everyone at the Gibraltar Port Authority, Manuel Tirado, CEO and Captain of the Port took the opportunity to thank Derek for his service and wished him a long and happy retirement."
