New Art Collab Showcases Local Talent

Masbro Insurance Brokers collaborates with the Gibraltar Fine Arts Association to Showcase Local Talent.
Masbro Insurance Brokers has teamed up with the Gibraltar Fine Arts Association to bring local artwork to the heart of the community. Visitors to Masbro’s reception and customer service area can now enjoy a rotating exhibition of original artwork from FAA members, with pieces available for purchase. This partnership provides local artists with an exciting opportunity to showcase their talent in a new setting, further strengthening Masbro’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local arts and community initiatives.
The collaboration aims to introduce more people to Gibraltar’s rich artistic culture. Works from FAA members will be displayed in Masbro’s busy reception and customer service area, which receives a high volume of daily visitors. The exhibition will feature a range of media and styles, ensuring there is something to appeal to all tastes. The display will be refreshed regularly, allowing for a continuous showcase of new pieces.
The Fine Arts Association expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. FAA Committee member Michele Stagnetto said, “As artists, we are grateful for the opportunity to exhibit our work outside of the traditional, formal gallery setting. It allows us to reach a broader, more diverse audience. It will be interesting to see how we may connect with people from different walks of life.”
James Andlaw, Masbro’s Managing Director, commented on the partnership: “At Masbro, we’ve always prided ourselves on being more than just an insurance provider. We believe in contributing to the community in meaningful ways, and supporting local artists through this collaboration with the FAA is a natural fit. We’re excited to see how our clients and visitors engage with the artwork.”
Visitors to Masbro can view and purchase artwork directly from the artists, with 100% of the proceeds going to the creators. This approach underscores Masbro’s and the FAA’s dedication to supporting and promoting local talent. The exhibition is open to all during Masbro’s business hours from 1st October 2024 through 29th November 2024. Pieces range from £50 to £700, offering an affordable way to support the arts while acquiring original artwork.
A statement ended: "This partnership is just the latest in a series of community projects supported by Masbro, which has been an integral part of Gibraltar since its founding in 1989. By showcasing the work of local artists, Masbro continues its mission of giving back to the community while providing a welcoming space for creativity and cultural expression."
