Book On Overseas Territories By Charles Sisarello Launched

A new book analysing the differences and similarities between the fourteen British Overseas Territories was released by Charles Sisarello last week.
Mr Sisarello says that, despite the fact that Gibraltar and these other territories were formerly known as colonies and all share the same head of state (King Charles), very little is known about these places and what we, as Gibraltarians, have in common with the inhabitants of these often remote parts of the world.
The book’s blurb explains: “My humble mission is to try and get a close look at the history, culture, political and social fabric of each of these extraneous lands.”
Mr Sisarello has conducted research by consulting books and the internet.
The book, titled "British Overseas Territories Family", is now on sale at the Gibraltar Heritage Trust shop, the large Eroski store near the frontier and BookGem.
