Youth Symposium Announces Day Residential To Empower Young People

The Gibraltar Youth Service have announced a Day Residential at the Europa Retreat Center on Sunday 26th January 2025.
A statement from the Government follows below:
The Day Residential will offer young people aged between 14 and 25 interactive sessions designed to foster leadership, teamwork and strategic planning within a structured but relaxed environment.
Attendees will engage in meaningful dialogue and collaborate on setting clear and realistic goals and objectives for 2025.
The upcoming Residential is a reflection of the impactful work being undertaken by the Youth
Symposium and its steadfast commitment to enhance youth engagement and develop a sense of active citizenship. By encouraging young people to amplify their voices, a brighter and more equitable future will be created.
Youth Symposium Lead Rebecca Figueras said: “This initiative underscores our commitment to
empower young people and support their aspirations to address critical Gibraltar specific issues”.
Self-Referral Now Open
Young people can refer themselves to participate in the Youth Symposium, in line with the Youth Services’ commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. This ensures any young person, regardless of prior affiliations, can take part and make a difference.
