At approximately 08:59 this morning, eight districts were affected by a power outage. 

A statement from the GEA follows below:

The cause of the outage was the result of an interruption to our gas supply from the LNG terminal end. 

The restoration of power was commenced immediately, with all eight districts affected being reconnected by 09:27. 

GEA apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank the public for their continued support.
