Among the many meetings the Chief Minister is holding during his visit to Madrid, this week, is a live appearance on the Spanish National Broadcaster TVE. 

A statement from the Government follows below:

On Thursday evening the Chief Minister will be interviewed in the prestigious current affairs late night programme La Noche en 24 Horas, presented by Xabier Fortes. 

La Noche is scheduled for 10:00pm on TVE 24 hours channel and Mr Picardo is expected to appear at 10:20pm. Earlier that day, the Chief Minister is addressing the Association of Foreign Correspondents in Madrid. Journalists from major international media will have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with Gibraltar’s efforts to secure an agreement on its future after Brexit. 

Mr Picardo is also holding meetings with several Spanish Parliamentary Groups and Trade Unions. He returns to Gibraltar at the end of the week.
