The Gibraltar Youth Service, on behalf of the Ministry of Youth, would like to remind the public that the deadline for nominations for the first Youth Achievement Awards, announced earlier this month, is on Monday 31st March 2025. 

The Youth Service is pleased to have seen a great response, with several worthy nominations  already received. These Awards are designed to celebrate Gibraltar’s next generation of leaders,  innovators and change makers, and honour the extraordinary contributions of young individuals  aged 12-25. 

There is still time to nominate deserving individuals in two categories: Junior, ages 12-18, and  Senior, Ages 19-25. Nominations can also be submitted for organisations or NGOs that embody  youth-driven impact.  

Nominations will be reviewed and considered by a committee of community leaders and educators.  Selections will be based on impact on the community, creativity, inspiration and any challenges  overcome. The winners will be announced at a Youth Achievement Awards Ceremony hosted by  the Minister for Youth, the Hon Christian Santos GMD MP.
