10-year-old Alma Belle proudly represented Gibraltar in three competition categories—Children, Pairs, and Teams—and delivered a flawless performance, winning first place and securing the Best International Performance trophy in all three.
In the Children’s category, Alma completed her 200-piece puzzle in 17 minutes and 14 seconds, earning first place and the Best International Performance trophy.
In the Pairs competition, Alma teamed up with Emma Quirke from Ireland, the 2025 UK National Champion. Together, they won their semi-final in 24 minutes and 22 seconds (500 pieces), and went on to take first place in the final, completing the 500-piece puzzle in 26 minutes and 27 seconds—finishing ahead of 81 other pairs and receiving the Best International Performance award.
In the Teams category, Alma joined forces with Emma Quirke (Ireland), Lenka Henao Mišíková (Slovakia), and Filipa Prata Silva (Portugal), forming team “Wicked". They qualified from the semi-final in first position and went on to win first place in the final, completing the 1,000-piece puzzle in just 46 minutes—again securing the Best International Performance trophy. We are incredibly proud of Alma’s results across all five events she participated in, and grateful for the warm welcome and sportsmanship extended by the Portuguese puzzling community.
