GNA Thanks Friends of Gibraltar Heritage Society for Donation of New Archival Photo Stand

The Gibraltar National Archives (GNA) says it is very pleased to announce the acquisition of a specialised Archival Photo Stand. The R1 Copy Stand by the leading German company Kaiser Fototechnik will enable researchers and attendees to capture photographic documentation with their smartphones and cameras.
A statement continued: “Archivist Gerard Wood is thrilled that such equipment is now available at GNA. Significantly, the GNA follow the best practices of British Archival Standards. The Kaiser stand will provide a new level of accessibility to the public, allowing its users to find and access the information they need more efficiently.
“On behalf of the Gibraltar Government and the Gibraltar National Archives, the Archivist would like to thank the Friends of Gibraltar Heritage Society for their donation and continuous support which plays a vital role in preserving and celebrating Gibraltar's rich history.”
Mr Wood said: ‘Thank you for your unwavering dedication to our shared heritage.’
