Community Care Domiciliary Services Holds Refresher Training Programme For Domiciliary Care Workers

Community Care Domiciliary Services Ltd has begun a refresher training programme for all of its domiciliary care workers.

As part of it’s drive to improve the quality of domiciliary care delivered to the most vulnerable in our community, Community Care Domiciliary Services Ltd has begun its refresher training programme for all of its domiciliary care workers.
This refresher training programme includes sessions on:

Assisting and Moving People
-
Medication
-
Lone Working and Breakaway Techniques
-
Safeguarding Training
-
Basic Life Support
-
Health and Safety
-
Fire Prevention
-
Professional Boundaries
The programme began on Monday 12th May 2025 with the first 10 carers receiving refresher training on Assisting and Moving People (Manual Handling). All of CCDSL’s carers will now complete the Assisting and Moving People refresher course before commencing the next training component.
The programme will see a group of carers attending each day to complete the relevant refresher training until they have all completed the programme in full.
