Torque The Rock Returns To Gibraltar With Runway Sprints

Torque the Rock charity event will be returning on Saturday 26th July 2025 from 4pm at RAF Gibraltar with quarter mile sprints on the runway.

After the success of ‘Torque the Rock 2024’ which saw the first ever Airport Sprints in Gibraltar, this charity event will be returning on Saturday 26 July 2025 from 4pm at RAF Gibraltar, and this time there will be quarter mile sprints on the runway!
Powered by Torque Events, this unique experience promises to be a great day for all the family. The event will be raising funds for charities both in Gibraltar and the UK including SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. As well as Runway Sprints there will also be a static car display; military, fire, and police vehicles; family entertainment, and other activities. There will also be a VIP Champagne and Canapes Reception for those purchasing Sprint Tickets at the end of the event.

Forged by Directors Benn Laidler MBE and Steve Shaw MA, FCILT, CMCIPD, who are both ex serving members of HM Forces, the team have been driving the most scenic parts of Europe since 2012, through driving events raising much needed funds for Armed Forces charities. Benn and Steve are both fully certified petrol heads with a passion for anything with wheels and to top it off, a thirst for adventure.

Tickets for ‘Torque the Rock’ 2025 are as follows:
• £1250 – Runway Sprint Fee includes a car and driver, 1 x place at the VIP reception with no obligation to take charity rides during the event.
• £750 - Runway Sprint Fee includes a car and driver, 1 x place at the VIP reception, plus agreeing to take passengers on sprints during the day.
• £500 – Runway sprint additional driver and VIP reception to be paid in addition to Runway Sprint Fee.
• £50 – Passenger Runway Sprint Fee
• £5 – Spectators Entrance Fee (children under 12 years are FREE OF CHARGE)
