Traffic Management Arrangements – Royal Engineers Association (REA) Freedom of the City Parade

In connection with the REA Freedom of the City parade scheduled to take place on Saturday 7th June 2025, the public are advised of the following traffic management arrangements that will be implemented in order to facilitate the event.
Parking Restrictions – will be in force in the area of John Mackintosh Square by the City Hall, as from 0700hrs Saturday 7th June, until termination of event (approximately 1400hrs).
Road Closure – there will be a temporary road closure in place at John Mackintosh Square at 1300hrs on Saturday 7th June, as a result of which vehicular traffic proceeding into this square towards Cornwall’s Lane and City Mill Lane will be unable to do so for a brief period as the parade proceeds passed that location.
