GHA Launches New Online Physiotherapy Resource

The Gibraltar Health Authority has launched a new physiotherapy page within its website focusing on the musculoskeletal services it provides to healthcare users.
The section contains clear information to help users have a better understanding of acute low back pain and what services they should access. It also includes a Frequently Asked Questions segment detailing many aspects of such ailments.
The new content can be found under the GHA services section for MSK physiotherapy and offers a range of options for those who wish to read more about the clinical support provided for their needs.
The webpage has been developed by Physiotherapists Angie Fortuna and Natalie Bailey together with their team.
Posters will be displayed in the waiting areas in St Bernard’s Hospital and the Primary Care Centre with a QR code so that this information is easily accessible.
The new online content can be accessed by going onto the GHA website and clicking on ‘GHA Services’ and then ‘MSK Physiotherapy: Acute Back Pain’. It can also be accessed via https://www.gha.gi/physio-back-pain/
GHA Director General Kevin McGee said: “I wish to congratulate Angie, Natalie and their colleagues at the Physiotherapy Department for the brilliant resource they have created which will be a great informative asset for their patients. Having this online service available to the general public will raise awareness of these ailments and act as a guide for those who require medical support.”
