Gibraltar National Day 2025 - National Day Drone Display

The Self Determination for Gibraltar Group has announced that there will be a Drone Display at this year’s National Day.
A statement from the SDGG follows below:
The Self Determination for Gibraltar Group is excited to announce that there will be a Drone Display at this year’s National Day on Wednesday 10th September, showcasing innovation and artistry in a truly unforgettable spectacle.
Following the continued success of the traditional fireworks, this year the SDGG invites everyone to experience an eco-friendly aerial show featuring 300 synchronized drones lighting up the Gibraltar sky in a breath-taking performance of lights and music. While some may miss the fireworks, this modern display will offer a unique and equally thrilling alternative that’s sure to leave a lasting impression.
The Drone Display will begin at 10pm and will be visible from within the harbour, not just from the Peter Isola Promenade, ensuring wide public access and enjoyment.
Important Information and Restrictions:
• Peter Isola Promenade will be pedestrian only from 8pm to 12am, allowing for safe viewing and the secure dismantling of equipment after the show.
• No parking will be permitted along Peter Isola Promenade from 6pm onwards. Join us for a magical night as we light up the sky in celebration of Gibraltar’s National Day!
