The Episcopal ordination of Bishop-Elect Charles will take place on Sunday 7th December 2025. 

A statement from the Catholic Diocese of Gibraltar follows below: 

Following the announcement of Mgr Charles Azzopardi's appointment as the next Bishop  of the Catholic Diocese of Gibraltar, we are delighted to share that the Episcopal  ordination of Bishop-Elect Charles will take place on Sunday, the 7th December, 2025.  

The venue will be confirmed at a later date.
