Cancer Relief Gibraltar Welcomes a Seat of Hope from Whole Wild World and Gib Oil

Cancer Relief Gibraltar says it is delighted to share that a new Seat of Hope has been installed at Europa Point - the second in an initiative launched by Whole Wild World, with the support of the Gibraltar Government’s Department for the Environment and Climate Change.
A statement continued: “The Seats of Hope project are transforming the benches at Europa Point into colourful mosaic artworks that highlight the positive connection between nature and mental health. Each bench is designed to inspire reflection, resilience, and comfort, offering a special place for both community spirit and personal journeys.
“Gib Oil have generously sponsored this second bench in the project and nominated Cancer Relief as their chosen charity. In addition, the artist behind the bench will kindly donate 5% of Gib Oil’s sponsorship directly to Cancer Relief, helping the charity continue to provide vital services for people affected by cancer in Gibraltar."
“We are truly grateful to Whole Wild World and Gib Oil for choosing us to collaborate on this project,” said Nic, Cancer Relief’s Operational Manager. “The Seat of Hope is a beautiful symbol of resilience and community, and we hope it will become a spot where people can find peace and comfort when visiting Europa Point.”
“Cancer Relief Gibraltar is proud to be represented in this inspiring initiative, which reflects values very close to the charity’s heart - those of collaboration, compassion, and community support.”
