Weather Advisory For Heavy Rain
02 February 2026

The Government have issued a Weather Advisory for Heavy Rain as from Tuesday 3rd February 6:00pm to Thursday 5th February 6:00pm.
Validity: From 6pm Tuesday 3rd February to 6pm Thursday 5th February
A low pressure to the north tracks westwards and drags fronts across Gibraltar, resulting in prolonged periods of rainfall. Over this period rainfall rates of 25 mm in 6 hours are expected with total accumulations of between 80-120 mm. With the heaviest rainfall on Wednesday, in any 6 hour period accumulations could reach 25-30 MM.
Localised flooding is highly likely.
This rain will be coupled with gale force winds.
