The Ministry of Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism have announced a new online booking system for The Parasol Event Hall at The Mount.
A statement from the Government follows below:
The Ministry of Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism (MEECT) is pleased to announce a new online booking system for The Parasol Event Hall at The Mount. The official booking link is now live and accessible to the public via www.meect.gov.gi/the-mount.
Offering a unique blend of natural beauty, heritage and atmosphere, The Mount is one of Gibraltar’s most distinctive and sought-after venues. The location is renowned for its lush surroundings, panoramic views and elegant character, nestled within a tranquil and picturesque setting. It captures both the charm and identity of Gibraltar and provides an exceptional backdrop for private celebrations, cultural events and community gatherings.
This new online booking system has been introduced to streamline the reservation process, making it more efficient, transparent and user-friendly. Members of the public can now conveniently submit booking requests directly through the official platform.
In addition, the Ministry can confirm that following an Expression of Interest process, a number of event planners have now been formally approved to operate at The Parasol Event Hall at The Mount. Individuals or organisations wishing to host an event at the venue will be required to engage one of these approved event planners. This measure ensures that all events meet the necessary standards in terms of quality, safety and coordination, while also preserving the integrity and condition of the site.
If any event planners wish to be considered for the approved list, please email [email protected] for more information
Further details regarding the booking process, conditions of hire and the list of approved event planners are available online on www.meect.gov.gi/the-mount.
The Ministry look forward to welcoming the public to make use of this exceptional venue and to enjoy all that The Mount has to offer.
