Apr 18 Minister For Europe Sends His Condolences
18 April 2013
The Minister for Europe, the Rt Hon David Lidington MP, has written to the Chief Minister to express his sadness on hearing of the death of Minister Charles Bruzon.
‘Charles made an important contribution to public life in Gibraltar,’ wrote Mr Lidington. ‘Throughout his decade in Parliament, both as an Opposition MP and more recently as a Minister, it was very evident that he cared deeply about the issues facing the people of Gibraltar.
Furthermore, as the spearhead in Gibraltar for the Christian Socialist Movement, he was obviously a man of strong spiritual beliefs. I know that he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.’
Mr Lidington also asked that his sympathy and condolences be passed to Mrs Bruzon and her family.
