Apr 22 - Support for Mental Health
22 April 2013
The Psychological Support Group, the Gibraltar Clubhouse Project and the Mental Welfare Society joined forces for the Wear Yellow campaign to raise awareness and support for mental health issues. On Thursday their stand at the Piazza was visited by Minister for Health, Dr John Cortes, and the Minister for Equality and Social Services, Samantha Sacramento.
"Mental Health is a top priority for the Government and I am very happy to support the Psychological Support Group's activities," said Dr Cortes. "I have already congratulated the new Chair of the Group, and I'd like in addition to thank the outgoing Chair, Emily Olivero, for all her work in the past and to wish her well in her continuing contribution through the Clubhouse Project."
