Early tomorrow morning, Tuesday 2 July, the two guns and their gun carriages will be removed from outside the Convent Guardroom in order that they can be fully refurbished.

The guns will be returned to their traditional positions on September the 16th in plenty of time for the Ceremonial Guard Mount on 21 September. On that date, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment will also be exercising its Freedom of the City.
