Gibraltar College/GAMPA Music Performance Assessments

Minister for Education John Cortes recently attended the first and second year assessment performances of the Gibraltar College BTEC in Music Performance delivered with GAMPA (Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts).
This course was set up several years ago to provide an opportunity for young people to pursue Music performance vocationally. This followed work by Minister Cortes and then Director of GAMPA and now Minister for Culture Christian Santos working with GAMPA, the College and the Department of Education to obtain accreditation for the course.
Present at the assessments, which were held in the Magazine Studio, were the Principal Daniel Benrimoj and staff of the College and the Director of GAMPA Tanya McClelland
The students assessed were:
1st Year: Tristan Benyunes, Jessica Stuart, Aaliyah Pozo, Nathan Pereira and Adele Caetano. 2nd year: Bella Navas and Kate Williamson.
