Sep 30 - British Geographer Stewart McPherson Visits Gibraltar
Stewart McPherson - a British geographer, field botanist, nature photographer and writer – will be in Gibraltar this week as part of his latest project on ‘Conservation in Britain's Overseas Territories’.
The project is a filming expedition that will cover the wildlife and human stories of existing conservation projects in the UK Overseas Territories including Gibraltar. The aim of the project is primarily to raise public awareness and highlight the unique conservation challenges faced by the different overseas territories. As part of his visit, Stewart McPherson will be delivering a presentation where he will be speaking about his experiences and journey so far. The presentation is being organised by the Department of the Environment and will take place at the O’Callaghan Eliott Hotel on Wednesday 2nd October at 18:30. Members of the public are invited to attend.
