Nov 05 - Tourist Board Exhibit at World Travel Market
Gibraltar is exhibiting at the World Travel Market currently being held at the Excel Exhibition Centre in London one of the largest international gatherings of the travel and tourism industry.
Minister for Tourism, Public Transport, Commercial Affairs and the Port, Neil Costa MP heads the local delegation, which comprises of industry partners from Gibraltar and Gibraltar Tourist Board officials.
The GTB stand provides a sound platform for local representatives to present their products and services to the travel trade and to benefit from the resources provided at the event.
Mr Costa has meetings with over 15 leading UK industry executives during the event. He will also be hosting a meeting of the UK Gibraltar Tourist Association (UKGTA).
The Minister commented, ‘we are at the World Travel Market once again to make it work harder for Gibraltar. As a major tourism event the WTM is important but our attendance at these events must yield tangible results. We have returned together with our industry partners because we believe the Rock can benefit from the type of top-level contacts and opportunities that can be developed here.’
Minister Costa is accompanied by the Chief Executive of the GTB Nicky Guerrero and the stand is managed by the team from Gibraltar House in London.
Co-exhibiting with the GTB at the event will be: Bland Travel Group, MH Bland, Parodytur, Gibraltar Taxi Association and the O’Callaghan Elliot Hotel.
