Apr 07 - Upper Town Rubbish Misery Continues
07 April 2014
This was the scene this morning at the bottom of Tank Ramp and Castle Road. Old furniture, an unwanted oven and rubbish purposely dumped in unauthorized areas are just a few of the ugly images that are now familiar to residents of the Upper Town.
YGTV highlighted the extent of the problem last year but there has been no noticeable improvement since then. There appear to be no litter patrols and residents continue to dump rubbish outside designated areas providing easy food for macaques, seagulls and other pests.
