Unite the Union has announced the programme of events for this year’s May Day on Thursday 1^st May. The events are being organised by Unite the Union, with the Ministry of Culture collaborating and assisting to ensure the smooth running of all events.

The May Day Celebrations return to Casemates Square this year. Celebrations begin at 11am from the Square with a Fun Day to include live music and performances. The Union Rally will start at 12.30pm and will include various speakers. The event continues with a Rock Concert to feature ShotBreak, Metro Motel and Reach.

Events forming part of our May Day Celebrations include:

11am to 6pm: Fun Day: Jumping Castles, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts Activities and Disney Characters                                            

11am to 12.30pm: Live Performances by Stylos Dance Academy, Transitions Dance Company and Santos Productions Choir

12.30pm: Union Rally

1.15pm: Unite May Day Football Tournament Trophy Ceremony

2.00pm to 5.30pm: Rock Concert Featuring ShotBreak, Metro Motel and REACH
