Your Gibraltar TV (YGTV) is pleased to announce that it has appointed a new Editor-in-Chief. As from this week, Giordano Durante will take over the day to day running of this website.
YGTV is privately owned and relies on advertising with a large number of packages and options to suit different needs and requirements.
Since its launch in 2011, YGTV has grown rapidly and now enjoys thousands of monthly visits to its website. The site now attracts 17,000 unique visitors a month and can boast an average of 55,000 page views a month. With over 5,500 Facebook likes and 2,100 Twitter followers, the online news service has a dedicated following and a strong presence on social media.
YGTV has also recently moved from its old offices in Governor’s Street to new premises right in the heart of town at 138a Main Street. This more central location means that YGTV is now closer than ever to the news and events its motivated team enjoys covering.
Speaking about the appointment, Giordano said: “This is a very exciting time for YGTV as we continue to grow and look for new opportunities. Although we’re only a small team, we try to cover as much local news as possible and I look forward to the challenges the future will bring.”
Giordano first joined YGTV as a Newsreader and has been its Political Editor since May last year.
