Nov 10 - Unite Youth Welcomes New Gibraltar Youth Service Project

Unite’s Youth Committee has welcomed the Gibraltar youth service's initiative to launch a new project aimed at helping people bridge the gap between education and employment.

A statement from the committee continues: “We at Unite recognise the real value in ensuring that our youth are given an opportunity to improve skills such as team work, working towards deadlines, presentation skills, time management, planning and organising etc. These are skills that will in turn make our youth more attractive to and employable by future potential employers.

“Unite’s Youth Committee would like to take this opportunity to remind the public of our continued commitment to our youth. Moving forward, we have managed to secure a visit from a highly respected UK training provider to meet up with a number of separate entities and discuss future training for our youth. Unite’s Youth Committee is at the same time working around the clock to provide our youth members with a service helping them with their CV build up and interview approach.”
