Feb 18 - Self-Harm Uncovered at Childline Seminar
An expert trainer from the UK mental health charity, MIND will deliver a seminar on ‘Self-Harm Uncovered’ on both 2nd and 3rd of March in an effort to unearth some of the mysteries of this very topical issue in Gibraltar. The event is open to parents/carers and anyone who works with children and adolescents and is interested in attending. Entrance fee is £25 with interested parties advised to register now as more than half of the available places have already been reserved.
A Childline spokesperson advised ‘anyone who has to deal with this difficult subject not to miss out on the opportunity to attend.’ They added, ‘the event will be both informative and interactive and aims to raise awareness and understanding about Self-Harm, as well as to explore the local support services available’.
