Aug 14 - GFA Struggling To Find National Teams To Play In Friendlies
14 August 2013
There are reports that the Gibraltar Football Association is experiencing difficulties in trying to arrange international friendly matches.
Allen Bula, the GFA’s Manager, today Tweeted: “Looking at all nations getting ready to play international friendlies, frustrated no nation available to play us.”
There are various windows during the year for national team football and Mr Bula is hoping to set up a match in October with one of five teams that only have one qualifying match to play. It is understood that the tight schedule being followed by many national teams will make it difficult for a Gibraltar friendly to go ahead.
