The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, today met with the Foreign Secretary, Rt Hon Lord David Cameron, at the Foreign Office in London in order to discuss the outstanding issues and matters in the ongoing negotiation with the European Union in relation to Gibraltar.
The Gibraltar Women’s Association (GWA) says it is concerned at the “lenient” sentence given in a recently reported case, where a motorbike driver was fined what it describes as the “paltry sum” of £250 after clipping the side of a pram holding a three week old baby and throwing the baby to the ground. The GWA is now requesting a complete review of local motor offense laws.
