Animal Magnetism
What makes someone attractive to another? This question I have been pondering since last week. Is it fame, money, cars, steady job or big house? Is it a sense of humour, a quirky smile, or the way they eat nachos.
Whatever it is, you can never seem to quiet put your finger on it and, although you would hate yourself for admitting it, it is because the real reason you become attracted to someone is sex. There, I said it!
I don’t care what anyone says. The first thing that pops into a man or woman’s head, when their gazes lock across a misty room as popularised by Hollywood and Barbara Cartland, is not romantic thoughts of long walks in the park or sharing some enchiladas. No, what goes through your mind is whether or not that person is a potential mate.
At base level the whole point of being human is to survive long enough for you to pass on your genetic code, everything else is incidental.
You will think of a myriad of reasons to deny this, but if you begin to dissect that first time you saw someone that “took your breath away” you will have to admit that the reason you felt attracted to them in the first place was definitely not for their penchant of triangular Mexican maize snacks.
