Jun 20 - RGP Staff Accredited By Institute Of Leadership And Management

RGP Officers and Support Staff from the Government of Gibraltar’s Civil Service recently received their accreditation certificates from the Institute of Leadership and Management during a presentation held at New Mole House. The awards followed the successful completion of a six-month Leadership Training programme delivered by ML Associates.

The courses were delivered at various levels within the management structure, and were aimed at improving the organisation’s leadership delivery by providing officers and support staff with a range of skills and techniques designed to enable improved supervision and understanding of management processes. Staff motivation and improved performance through planning and leadership were also key elements of the programme.

Superintendent Ullger who is the RGP’s Planning, Development and Support Lead expressed his delight with the success of the training delivered, explaining that “the RGP strived to improve the quality of service delivered internally and externally to our community through investment in the continuous development of its people”.

For his part, Gilbert Licudi, the Minister for Education and for Justice, stated that “Our community should be reassured that the RGP continues to offer professional training to its staff, thereby improving standards throughout the force.”
