Jun 21 - Spanish Man Charged Following Flag Stunt

A 53-year-old Spanish national, Juan Ignacio Minguez Martinez, a resident of Madrid, Spain, has been charged with one count of Conduct likely to cause a Breach of the Peace.
The charge follows his arrest yesterday afternoon following reports of a large Spanish flag having been displayed in an area near Signal Station Road, on the western side of the Upper Rock.
Minguez Martinez is the president of Vox Madrid, a far-right political party.
Minguez Martinez remains in Police custody, and will be appearing before the Magistrates’ Court at 10.00am tomorrow.
