Jan 23 – Man In Court Accused Of Importing Cocaine
A local man appeared before the Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning charged with the importation, possession and possession with intent to supply almost 18g of cocaine.
Matthew Ullger, of Firedrake House in Glacis Estate, entered a guilty plea for the importation and the possession of the Class A drug.
He maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to supply the drugs for the incident which allegedly happened in October last year.
The Lay Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the case has been adjourned to the 15th of March and will then be sent to the Supreme Court.
Patrick Canessa appeared for the defendant, who was bailed out to the sum of £2,000.
