A local man is set to appear before the Magistrates’ Court in the New Year after he was reported for Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.

Brandon Camilleri, 20, of Beach View Terraces, was yesterday (19 Nov) served a Court Summons by RGP Roads Policing Unit officers, to appear before the courts on Friday the 17th of January 2025.

He was also summonsed for the offence of Wounding, Causing Grievous Bodily Harm.

The news comes following a fatal road traffic collision on Line Wall Road during the early hours of Saturday 22nd of July last year.

During the incident a car collided with street furniture outside NatWest Bank, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old local man.
