Man Jailed Following Various Burglaries

47 year old Christian BAGLIETTO, of Prince Edward’s Road, has been sentenced to 10 weeks imprisonment following his appearance at the Magistrates’ Court this morning.
BAGLIETTO had been charged with two counts of Burglary and one count of Attempted Burglary, in respect of three separate licensed and retail premises situated at Ocean Village, Engineer Lane and Turnbull’s Lane, committed during the early hours of Wednesday 9th April. The ensuing investigation identified BAGLIETTO as the suspect and he was arrested by Response Team officers several hours later.
Detectives from the RGP’s Crime & Protective Services Division progressed the investigation throughout the course of yesterday, which included the execution of two search warrants at residential properties linked to BAGLIETTO. He was interviewed under caution and charged yesterday evening ahead of his appearance before the Magistrates’ Court this morning.
