Man Imprisoned For Attempted Robbery And Carrying An Offensive Weapon In A Public Place

34 year old Adrian Wilkins, of Edinburgh Estate, appeared before the Supreme Court on Friday 24th April 2026 and was sentenced to imprisonment for two years and three months.
A statement from the RGP follows below:
WILKINS had previously pleaded guilty on 22nd January 2026 to one count of Attempted Robbery, and to one count of Carrying an offensive weapon in a Public Place.
WILKINS was originally arrested by RGP Armed Response officers in connection with an incident on the 11th October 2025, with the investigation subsequently conducted by detectives from the RGP’s Criminal Investigation Department.
